Installing IIS
When installing the full version of Web TimeSheet, you can choose to either install using an Internet Infor-
mation Services (IIS) web server or using Replicons web server (provided with Web TimeSheet).
If you are using an IIS server, you must ensure IIS is installed before installing Web TimeSheet. The sections
that follow provide information on installing IIS.
Installing IIS on Windows Server 2008
To install the required IIS components on Windows Server 2008:
1. In the Windows Control Panel, select Programs [and Features] > Turn Windows features on or
off.
2. In the Server Manager window that displays, select Roles in the left pane.
3. Select Add Roles in the Roles Summary section.
The Add Roles Wizard displays.
4. Select Next if the Before You Begin page displays.
Installing IIS is only required if you are using the full version of Web TimeSheet with an IIS web server.
If you are using the trial version, or the full version with the internal web server, you do not have to
complete the steps below.
The required IIS components outlined below are minimum requirements. Your installation may contain
additional components, which may be retained.
