Ensuring Web TimeSheet Security If you decide to use an IIS server, you may need to set up Single Socket Layer (SSL) on the server to prevent transmission of plain text (unencrypted) passwords. Web TimeSheet uses HTTP, which is a plain text pro- tocol. Therefore, all communication between the client and the server will be in plain text unless SSL is im- plemented.
